ExplorNet CareerTech helps prepare students for those yet to be created jobs and technologies to solve as yet-to-be-defined problems.  ExplorNet offers training, curriculum, resources and support for certification-based high school Information Technology programs to help students gain needed foundation. ExplorNet programs are offered by the non-profit Centers for Quality Teaching and Learning.

ExplorNet CareerTech programs help Information Technology teachers offer hands-on, industry-based high tech courses that prepare students for tomorrow's IT careers. ExplorNet CareerTech offers:
  • Teacher training, curriculum, resources and support for courses in Computer Engineering (mapped to CompTIA's A+ certification), Networking I, Digital Media, Mass Media and Web Design; Microsoft IT Academy;
  • A hands-on approach to technology training that helps students develop 21st Century skills;
  • User-friendly resources including online Professional Learning Communities and optional online classroom setups through the ExplorNet Moodle site.
